A NYC based music-driven, mat-based practice of self study by means of physical conditioning. Through simple, repetitive calisthenics and plyometrics, participants challenge the body to engage the mind. With guided instruction and powerful music, The Class invites students to witness their resistance to discomfort. The result is an expansive, heart-clearing and body-strengthening release. This Class will challenge and enlighten you all while building an incredibly strong, lean, resilient body. You will learn tools to empower your life.

Mar (Maria Soraparu) is the founder of Yoga With Mar - a Chicago-based lifestyle, coaching and yoga brand. She works with individuals across the United States through her Empowerment Coaching program, which follows a three step approach to life: Mindset Mastery, Habit Formation and Thoughtful Action. Mar is a sought-after RYT 200 Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor at top-rated studios and works with an array of private and corporate clients. Mar strives to reinvigorate and heighten the energy of her clients by enriching the mind and body to make space for growth and clarity. She is a student of life and is constantly learning, growing and exploring her craft. Mar is a University of California, Los Angeles graduate with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology.
Alma is a meditation teacher and founder of Tiny Space to Breathe. After completing her Bachelors in Finance and International Business she worked in Corporate America. Long hours and high levels of stress caused her to develop de habilitating panic attacks and anxiety. With a series of events that undeniably lead her to know that yoga held something powerful in it she left her job and pursued a RYT 200 hour yoga certification. Over the last 5 years Alma has continued to practice with some of the worlds leading masters in yoga and mediation. She is currently enrolled in Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield's 2 year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program. Alma has shifted from physical, mental, and emotional patterns of dissonance to deep connection. Encouraging others when practicing to find their own unique voice and listen to that voice. With a passion for the breathe & heart connection. Alma aims to supports the human body's innate capacity to heal itself. Her passion lives in the belief that our deepest and most profound healing occurs when we learn to listen to the unique language of our bodies.
